Myke grew up in the southern part of Ghana, West Africa, where Soccer is played at every corner of the streets. Myke played from elementary school through college and represented his schools at every level in tournaments throughout the country. It was with the same passion and love for the game that drawn him to coaching, starting as assistant coach for his home town soccer club (Young Rangers) junior team.
Myke completed his Undergrad and Masters degrees at University of Ghana, and Ohio University, Athens OH, both in Social Work. As a passionate professional, he enjoys working with children and youths and has volunteered with different organizations working with children and their families including Franklin County Children Services, Hopewell Health Centers, and STL Amandi Foundation. Myke currently holds USSF National ‘D’ License and working towards C license.
In his spare times, Myke enjoys being in nature and getting into adventure activities, playing pick-up soccer games, and also loves cooking and trying out new things. Myke’s favorite sports team is Manchester City in the UK Premier League and does his best to watch all of their games.
Myke believes UA Boys’ Soccer Teams have great talent and resources and environment that encourages both coaches and players to learn and develop their talents and challenges them to give their best every moment. Myke is looking forward to a great season with the team.
