James Igneczi is joining the Upper Arlington HS staff for his second season. Previously he has been a Head Coach for 14 years at the high school level at various schools around Central and Northern Ohio.
Coach Iggy has been involved in soccer since he was 4 years old as a player and as a Coach. He played collegiately at Baldwin-Wallace College before joining the Coaching ranks and quickly being named Head Coach. He has coached girls and boys at all levels, boasting over 50 players that have played collegiately. Iggy has been named Head Coach of the Year at the Conference and District levels multiple times during his coaching career. Coach Iggy’s best memory as a Coach has been getting multiple players named to All-Ohio teams and having a player named as a Scholar All-American.
Coach Iggy is a teacher in a local high school. He is also a Technical Development Coach with Quick Touch Soccer Development (QTSD) out of Westerville. He lives with his wife, children, dog, and cats in Upper Arlington.
Coach Iggy is looking forward to being able to spend time with his family while continuing as a Coach with a high-level high school program.
