Mike Palmisano

Mike joins the UABS program as an Assistant Coach working with the JVA and JVB teams. His coaching philosophy centers on individual player development, team-first soccer, and helping young athletes grow in confidence, character, and understanding of the game. Mike also coaches full-time with FC Columbus where he works with competitive youth players and teams. A former FC Columbus player himself, he has a lifelong connection to the club and the Central Ohio soccer community. His coaching emphasizes technical development, intelligent decision making, possession-based play, and creating a positive environment in which players are challenged and supported.

After a 15-year professional career in corporate HR, Mike followed his passion in full-time soccer coaching. He continues to pursue coaching education through US Soccer and is committed to serving players, supporting fellow coaches, and contributing to a strong, unified culture throughout the UAHS boys soccer program.
