Dante Garcia

Dante has an extensive background in the game, and has established a reputation as a leading expert in the sport of Futsal as well. He is the owner and Director of Columbus Futsal Academy, which provides Futsal programming across all levels of play from free pick up play to professional men's and women's Futsal teams. With over 20 years of experience coaching both soccer and Futsal, Dante brings a wealth of knowledge and a history of coaching players at a very high level.

As a player, Dante spent time in Peru’s Liga 2 de Fútbol Profesional with Academia Deportiva Cantolao, played NAIA college soccer with the University of Rio Grande and has competed in competitions with the Columbus Futsal Men’s Pro Team. He is also an Upper Arlington High School graduate and player himself, so he understands the history and tradition of our program, and could not be more excited to be leading a team at his alma mater!

On a more personal note, he credits his father Iggy who got him involved in coaching at Jones back in 2010 and gives thanks to his wife Malissa and their 4 boys for the support they continue to provide throughout his coaching career.
